21 Unique Guestrooms
Each one of the Stavrand’s fully renovated and refreshed guest rooms is designed to make your stay extra special. Jacuzzi and cedar hot tubs, private patios, and in-room fireplaces are just some of the amenities you’ll find across the property. Explore our buildings and room types to find your preferred match.
Inclusive Hot Plated Breakfast
Start each day with the Chefs’ mouthwatering, hot, plated breakfast. Daily options may include avocado or salmon toast topped with house-pickled delights, the Sonoma Bowl and its infamous patatas, and house-made granola with yogurt and fruit.
Evening Apéritif
From 5 to 6 o’clock every evening, the Stavrand team invites you to enjoy a special selection of local wines, a cocktail inspired by the garden, or perhaps an Aperol spritz on a hot day. Sip beneath the redwoods, fireside, or in the comfort of your own room.
Firepits and S'mores Kits
Cozy up in the Stavrand’s courtyard next to a firepit while toasting marshmallows from our “S’mores Kit” – complete with delectable local dark chocolate and a gluten-free graham cracker option. Stavrand blankets are available, too, for chilly nights!
Fully Stocked Minibars
Your carefully-curated in-room minibar includes all the usual goodies, along with local favorites like parmesan crisps and HenHouse beer, plus some stalwart classics, and thoughtful Tylenol – just in case.
Rejuvenating Massage
Treat yourself to massage therapy to ease your body and mind. 60 and 90-minute treatments are available. Please email the host team to let us know your preferred duration, availability, and any requests regarding therapist gender. Most guestrooms will accommodate the massage table, though you may still prefer to enjoy the experience under the redwoods poolside…
Pool and Hot Tub
Currently available until sunset, the pool and hot tub invite you to relax and enjoy views of the redwoods and open skies. Make sure to check out the art installation from a local metalworker on reclaimed historic barnwood, which charts the path of the Russian River and its tributaries.
Bicycles & Kayak Equipment
Take out one of our cheerful yellow bicycles for a spin (first-come, first-served), or kayak the Russian River just steps from the property. The team will outfit you with everything you need to enjoy the day. Coolers are also available if you’re packing lunch for the adventure!
Lawn Games
Giant Connect Four? Croquet? Corn hole? We have a variety of games to bring out competition or collaboration as you so choose!
Lending Library & Board Games
Visit the Belden House and peruse the various books and games ready to entertain you. Enjoy the property’s six acres, or loan out your selection to enjoy in your room.
Historic River Stone Fireplaces
The Belden House (Sonoma landmark Number 129) features two fireplaces from its original construction in 1922. These historic hearths create warm nights in the winter and provide for a stately atmosphere in all seasons.
Streaming Connectivity
Each sleek TV offers the Sonifi interface so you may choose from live local and national cable programming, or stream content from your own device to our HD flatscreens through a simple 3-step pairing process.
Lanterns to Wander And Explore
Each guestroom comes equipped with a dimmable lantern that you may use throughout the property’s six acres and along the path to town. Take one with you on your 10-minute stroll the from the Stavrand over the river bridge to Main Street and make your stay even brighter!
Path to Town
Venture through the Chef’s Meadow, following the artist’s map past the local tennis courts and mini-golf across one of two river bridges. For the best views of the historic trestle bridge, cross via the modern auto bridge (which offers a sidewalk). Downtown Guerneville provides popular dining and bar options, galleries, and shopping from another era with a delightful 5 and 10 store.
TASTING AT MARIMAR ESTATE
From one woman-owned business owner to another, Marimar Torres invites Stavrand guests to enjoy their lauded wines free of charge (Classic Tasting, valued at $35pp, valid through December 2024).
